Rabbi the Rabbit, by Shireen Hakim, was published in the “Out of Many, One: Celebrating Diversity” anthology. It also won an award by the anthology publisher, Houston Writers Guild Press, on April 5, 2017.
Karen Jameson is excited about her first two picture book sales! Moon Babies was acquired by Stephanie Pitts (Putnam, 2019) and will be illustrated by Amy Hevron. Woodland Dreams, was acquired by Naomi Kirsten (Chronicle, 2020) and will be illustrated by Marc Boutavant.
We Are Teachers named Sleepy Toes, by Kelli McNeil, from Scholastic as one of “15 Best Picture Books for Kindergarten!” The list included classics like The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and Where the Wild Thing Are by Maurice Sendak. Read the full list here.
