SCBWI selected five books authored by Margo Sorenson for their Recommended Reading Lists: Aloha For Carol Ann (Kindness Month), Danger Marches to the Palace: Queen Lili’uokalani (Women’s History Month), Firewatch (Celebrate the Earth Month), Shatter With Words: Langston Hughes (Black History Month), and Little Calabash (Celebrate Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month).

Sherry Shahan had the following YA short stories published: “Jagged Fractions” in Brown Bag; “Little House in the Redwoods” in Progenitor; “A Cracked Teapot” in Expanded Field; and “A Rabbit Died” in Impspired. Her photography appeared in Aromatic Poetica, Fourth River, Open Minds, and Too Well Away Literary.
