On November 9, Reedsy Live hosted the picture-book-writing webinar “20 Questions to a Picture Perfect Manuscript,” led by author/editor Cara J. Stevens.

The talk attracted almost 700 live viewers and is now available on YouTube. A companion e-book, workbook, and handout are in the works as well.

Part of a review on an Amazon page about Boy From Three Worlds by Farida Mirza:

I started reading this book and it got so interesting I couldn’t put it down! … Every school library should have a copy for the kids to enjoy. The incidents actually happen in schools and on play grounds. There are lessons for one learn too. [sic]

“Jesus Rides Shotgun,” a YA short story by Sherry Shahan, receives 1st Place in the Grant Faulkner Writing Contest.

From Laura Segal Stegman:

The original publisher of Summer of L.U.C.K., my debut, shuttered not long after the book’s publication. I was lucky enough to sign with a new publisher for L.U.C.K.’s reissue and publication of two sequels. In 11/22, Young Dragons Press published Summer of L.U.C.K. with a new cover, chapter art, and camp map, available in hardcover, paperback and e-book wherever books are sold. The sequels follow in 2023.
